Saving Hope Season 5 Spoilers: Images and Description for “Doctor Dustiny” and “Midlife Crisis”

The fifth and final (sob!) season of Saving Hope begins on Sunday March 12, 2017 and CTV has released the synopsis for the first two episodes of the season as well as several stills from the episodes.
First up is “Doctor Dustiny”
After the gunshot at the end of last season’s finale, Dr. Alex Reid (Erica Durance) searches for an injured Dr. Charlie Harris (Michael Shanks) in the following chaos, but instead comes across a caterer named Grace (Masa Lizdek, LOST GIRL) who was unknowingly also caught in the crossfire. At Hope Zion, Grace’s mother asks Alex for a priest, but the only person Alex can find is the pious interventional radiologist Dr. Manny Palmer (Jarod Joseph, ONCE UPON A TIME). Together, the two work quickly to try to save Grace’s life. As news of the shooting spreads, Dr. Dana Kinney (Wendy Crewson) arrives at the hospital to lend a hand but ends up consulting on a case with Dr. Cassie Williams (Kim Shaw) involving a male stripper instead.

Episode two is “Midlife Crisis” and CTV kind of ruins what happens in episode 1
Since Dr. Alex Reid (Erica Durance) turned down Dr. Charlie Harris’s (Michael Shanks) marriage proposal, neither knows where their relationship stands. Focusing on work, Alex clashes with Dr. Maggie Lin (Julia Taylor Ross) over whether or not to include a car crash survivor in their cancer study. Meanwhile, Dr. Dana Kinney’s (Wendy Crewson) resolve to re-certify in Trauma is tested when Dr. Dawn Bell (Michelle Nolden) pushes her to treat an injured motorcyclist, and Charlie is called in to help with the surgery despite the fact he’s still recovering from the injury to his arm. Dr. Zach Miller (Benjamin Ayres) pesters Maggie to start dating.

Alex is being stupid messing with Manny and still loving Charlie but running from it I hope Charlie and Alex end up together but doesn’t look good!
First, I don’t want this to be the final season. 😞 Second, I hope Alex gets it together and her and Charlie live happily ever after, together!
