Bitten Season 3 Begins Production
Space Channel announced today that Bitten has begun production on season 3. Star Laura Vandervoort has been tweeting on Twitter her prep for the upcoming season over the past month or so. Production will be on location in Toronto, Hamilton and Hespeler, Ont. In addition to Vandervoort, who plays lone female werewolf, Elena Michaels, Greyston Holt as Clayton Danvers, Greg Bryk as Jeremy Danvers and Steve Lund as Nick Sorrentino also return.
Joining Bitten for season 3 are John Ralson, Alex Ozerov and Sofia Banzhaf. According to the Space Channel press release, the trio are “mysterious new characters who throw Elena’s and The Pack’s lives into disarray”.
Other characters returning for season 3 is Tommie-Amber Pirie as Paige Winterbourne and Genelle Williams as Rachel Sutton. We for one are happy to have Pirie back as Paige, which hopefully means that Nick and Paige will reunite despite in the season 2 finale they had to part ways.
Here is what we can expect from season 3
Season 3 of Bitten finds The Pack several months after a harrowing and bloody battle. Once again, there are challenges and tensions within the ranks of the Council of International Alphas. This time, a rogue former member and his supporters create tension, posing a direct threat to The Pack. Meanwhile, Elena struggles with Jeremy’s new draconian leadership style, as she makes some shocking and surprising discoveries about herself.
The last part of Elena struggling with Jeremy’s leadership seems to refer to perhaps Savannah’s vision of Elena in a burning Stonehaven at Jeremy’s desk.
No premiere date has been set of Bitten season 3 but most likely it will premiere sometime in 2016.
