Bitten Season 2 Finale “Fine Temporum” Recap
Is it me or did season 2 fly by? But here we are at the season finale. So did the Undoing work? To find out let’s delve into this emotional and action-packed episode.

Noah Danby as Zachary Kane, Laura Vandervoort as Elena Michaels, Tommie-Amber Pirie as Paige Winterbourne and Greyston Holt as Clay Danvers
The pack with Paige and Cain arrive at the Delphi. Nick is not doing so hot as he is starting to feel the change and Elena is not happy to see Cain but is assured when he says he is with them. Nick asks about Logan and Jeremy tells them about Aeister’s attack on Stonehaven where Logan was killed. They vow to defeat Aleister so they can return to bury Logan. All of a sudden Elena is not doing well and remembers Savannah’s prophecy of her being dead by dawn and tells the group they are not going to be okay if they don’t defeat Aleister.
Jeremy tells of a spell Ruth is going to perform to take down Aleister and Paige tells them she knows where the catacomb is within the Delphi.
Cain wants to kill Savannah but Elena says no as she is innocent and that Aleister is the target. Paige says the group need her as only a coven witch can open the door to the catacomb.
As Cain, Elena, Clay and Paige near the building, the latter notices that Aleister has put a spell on its door and anyone that touches it will get killed. Clay then grabs a building sign and smashes the glass doors and they all enter the building. Nick is doing his best to resist the change and wants to join the fight so he has a shot to the kind of love his parents had, Clay and Elena had and Rachel and Logan, with Paige as he can’t if he is a wolf.
As the group makes their way to the building, security guards under Aleister’s control separate the pack. Clay and Cain are together making their way to the catacombs, same with Paige and Elena while Nick and Jeremy fight off guards with guns.
In the catacombs, Ruth is performing her spell causing Aleister great pain. Eventually he, Clara and Savannah reach the catacombs thanks to Savannah opening the door. Mother and son have a confrontation with Ruth trying to get the upper hand on Aleister but it doesn’t quite work and is pulled out of the circle. Aleister goes to perform a spell but it doesn’t work and pulls of Ruth ring off her finger. This action causes Aleister to heal and any work Ruth’s spell has done is gone. Things don’t look good for Ruth and tries to apologize to her son but Aleister knows that Ruth is only sorry that he lived.
Paige is under a spell by Aleister and attacks Elena but she manages to a shake it off and opens the door to the catacomb’s. Paige stays behind to let others in but she warns Elena should be prepared to sacrifice Savannah if she can’t kill Aleister as this will stop the Undoing.
Clay and Cain are getting nowhere in their journey to the catacombs and come across another guard firing bullets at them. Clay wants to change into a wolf to stop the guard but Cain convinces him not to as he won’t be with the one he loves as wolf and that is no way to live. So Cain rushes the guard as he peppers him with bullets but the task is done and has got the keycard so Clay can get to the catacombs. However, we don’t see Cain die so we probably haven’t seen the last of him if there is a third season.
Ruth bides some time, which allows Elena ton confront Aleister. In their fight, Aleister drops Ruth’s ring but in the melee he grabs the knife Ruth was using and stabs Elena. Elena uses the same knife to cut te worm that allowed her to be under Aleister’s control out of her arm. However, Savannah is whisked away by Clara and Aleister.
Nick is still fighting guards and makes it to the catacomb with them on his trail. Nick makes it to Paige but is holding off the guards and gets Paige to go into the catacombs. Jeremy arrives and helps Nick fight the guards.
Clay arrives at the catacombs and finds Elena; he wants to get help but she wants him to go after Aleister. Elena declares her love and dies in his arms. Clay is heartbroken and goes after Aleister in wolf form as he has nothing to keep him human. Ruth wakes up and sees Elena dead so she does the only thing she can do to make things right as she blames herself for all that has happened. Ruth puts her ring on Elena performs a spell to bring her back to life but this means she dies. Paige mourns her mom.
Clay confronts Aleister in wolf form but Aleister’s powers have returned because of Ruth’s death. Clay knocks Aleister down, which Savannah uses to take her talisman back. Savannah casts a spell that does a sort of Force Choke on her and Clara falls dead. The Aleister and Savanah trade Force Chokes with each other when Elena comes on the scene. Aleister then force chokes her and her eyes start to bleed. Aleister thinks it is fiitting that the lone male witch and lone female werewolf are battling it out at the end. Elena grabs Aleister and in their fight his necklace is removed and she drowns him as the sun comes up.
After it is over, Elena tells Jeremy that she is worried that she might not have killed him in time for the witches and werewolves fate. Fortunately everything is okay and Clay changes back. Once back in his human form, Elena and Clay share a sweet but sappy moment and says the one thing that has protected them was their love.
Jeremy promises never to turn his back to the witches. Nick tells Paige that he brought down all the bodies and cleaned up everything. Nick wants to be there for Paige as she mourns her mom but she tells Nick that after she buries her mom, she will be the new coven leader and what they could have had can’t be. But Paige is grateful to Nick for showing her what kind of love they could have. I am still shipping them and if there is a season 3, I am holding out hope that Nick will fight for Paige.
Savannah and Elena talk and the former blames herself for everything that has happened especially for letting Aleister into her life. But Elena says she is blameless and is thankful that Savannah let her into her life. When they touch hands, Savannah gets a vision of a bloody Elena looking like Stephen King’s Carrie with her at Stonehaven with fire surrounding her. We then see the bloody Elena sitting in Jeremy’s chair at Stonehaven looking very much like the lady of the manor. Back to the present, Savannah is shocked at her vision and it looks like Elena saw it too.
So ends season 2. This season seemed very much an ensemble where everyone got a chance to shine then always focusing on Elena. Question for fans of the book: What does this premonition mean for a potential season 3? Let me know in the comments.
maybe its not referencing season 3, but in the last book elena takes over as alpha, which jer has been training her for and hands over so he can “retire” and enjoy being with jamie and playing with the twins
The book and the tv series are very different. I hope there’s a season 3 but I won’t hold out for it to follow the books. It’s taken on a story of its own.
I do not ship Nick and Paige. At All.
Well I did
I know they cancelled bitten, big mistake. We want more bitten listen to the fans not some crazy tv poll there all fixed anyway. Stop trying to cancel our favorite shows because you don’t want to make more seasons. That us not what the fans want. We want more werewolf, witches, Vampire shows everything else us boring especially family sitcoms & reality shows we are sick of that crap.
