Before we get to all of that, we open up 1 year ago and Aleister has taken some random girl to his basement playroom. The scene plays like Fifty Shades of Grey until Clara comes in and we see Aleister perform a possession spell. More on that later.

In the present day, Jeremy is patching up Clay and says the witches says it was the only way to get rid of Aleister. Clay is understanding but notices that he isn’t healing as fast as they normally do and the photo receptors in his eyes are all wonky.

Meanwhile, Savannah has woken up and seen that Clara has her talisman. Savannah wants to know what she wants with it and Clara says that the witches only want to control her. Later, Clara says to Aleister that Savannah is asking too many questions but he says that they need to be more concerned about the werewolves as they will hunt for them.

Back at Stonehaven, Ruth tells Jeremy the only way to combat Aleister’s Left Hand magic is hit him wiht his own medicine but she needs something with his essence like hair or skin cells. Jeremy takes Ruth to the shed where he hid his body while possessing Clay. Ruth rolls an egg around the Infinity Alliance symbol and when they return to the kitchen she cracks open the egg out comes blood and some teeth and hair. Ruth performs a spell and Aleister starts to clutch in pain and Clara says it is Ruth doing this to her own son.

Savannah then contacts Ruth so Aleister can communicate with her. Aleister is pissed that his own mom is trying to kill him and Ruth makes her arguments. Jeremy interrupts their conversation to threaten Aleister and uses the moment to see where Aleister can be and vows that they will hunt them down. After the contact is broken, Jeremy alerts Elena, Clay, Nick and Paige what he saw. Jeremy then starts to uncontrollably transform and when he returns says he this has never happened to him before.

Ruth then explains that it must be the Undoing. Ruth says that when the witches all die, then the curse of the werewolf is lifted. That might sound like a good thing but the catch is if you are in wolf form when all the witches die then you remain a wolf for the rest of their lives. This isn’t so bad if you are still a human. Jeremy alerts the rest of the pack of this.

Meanwhile, Logan has managed to track down Rachel, who isn’t happy to see him as she asked him for space. Logan says that they can be a family as they are now safe. Rachel says that she got rid of the baby when she found out what Logan was. Devasted, Logan starts to pick a fight outside a bar. A man approaches Logan about an underground fight club so he can let out his aggression. When Logan faces his first opponent, it is Zachary Kane, the mutt that Clay castrated but actually ended up sparing his life. In the middle of the fight, Kane starts to feel the change and gets Logan to knock him out so his secret his safe.

Logan finds where Kane is staying and tells him what Jeremy told him. Logan wants Kane to join his pack to help defeat this evil they are facing. Logan then sees Kane’s secret: he has been keeping his girlfriend Amber alive. If you remember last season Amber wanted to be a werewolf and got bitten but her transformation didn’t go so well and is no brain dead. Kane just can’t let her go but eventually he does pull the plug to help both of them.

At the house from the beginning of the episode, Clara’s house. Elena, Clay, Nick and Paige arrive and find the basement playroom where they find a mummified head and the video camera that Aleister used. When the quartet watch the video they learn that Clara wants to possess Savannah’s body and tap into her powerful magic.

While Clay and Elena explore the upstairs, Nick and Paige are looking for something to help in the basement. It should be noted that throughout all of this Paige isn’t doing too well and knocks over a musical box that shuts the door of the basement.

As Paige is becoming increasingly sick, Nick too is noticing his eyesight going. Paige tells Nick a root that will help her but only temporarily and says that the door closed because something became out of place. In a sweet moment of the episode, Nick tells Paige that he needs her and he loves her and never thought he would find something that Elena and Clay have and his parents had. Nick vows to save Paige and I hope he does because like he said Paige sees through his jokes and bravado to see him.

Back upstairs, a cop, who was a prisoner of Aleister and under his control, confronts Clay and Elena but they manage to defeat him. Elena notes something is off with her hearing. Clay says that if the curse is lifted and they are just human then that is a good thing and if Elena changes into a wolf he will change too so they can be together. Elena loves him for being that strong and vows to stick together to defeat Aleister.

Logan gets a call from Rachel saying she and the baby need her help and that she lied about having an abortion.
