Showcase is describing the episode as follows:
Kiera’s relationship with the Freelancers is pushed to the limit as she forges a deeper connection with the mysterious John Doe. Alec crosses the rubicon to protect his legacy. Kiera makes a shocking discovery.
A reader, Joe, commented on the last episode’s recap that John Doe could be her son from a more distant future. So could that be the shocking discovery that Kiera makes or the fact that someone stole her other self’s body from the secret freezer that Carlos has as indicated by the promos.
