It will be interesting to see how a Shahir run Hope Zion will be like with Dawn temporarily away. And we will get to see that in Saving Hope’s seventh episode entitled “Can’t you Hear me Knocking?”

With Dr. Dawn Bell (Michelle Nolden) on temporary leave, Dr. Shahir Hamza (Huse Madhavji) has taken up the hospital’s top post as Interim Chief, bringing Hope Zion Hospital up to his strict standards for care and composure. But when a PhD candidate is diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor and given only months to live, Dr. Alex Reid (Erica Durance) must convince the new chief to okay a dangerous and experimental treatment that could give her patient another shot at life. Meanwhile, Dr. Charlie Harris (Michael Shanks) has his hands full in the spirit world, juggling the transgender sprit of a gravely injured football coach, “Spirit Caroline” (Monika Schnarre, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL), while he also deals with a palliative nurse, Kristine Fields (Nicole Underhay, MURDOCH MYSTERIES), who claims she can see spirits as well. With the life of his patient on the line, Charlie must decide if he can own up to his own truth and tell the nurse about his secret.

“Can’t you Hear me Knocking?” airs on CTV on November 5, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT.
