Romance is in the air for Cisco and Gypsy who are having a romantic evening that involves Cisco trying to find out her real name. As things get more romantic, the mood is interrupted by the appearance of Gypsy’s dad, Breacher (Danny Trejo).

Breacher does not like his daughter’s new boyfriend and any attempts by Cisco to impress him fail miserably. Harry understands Breacher point of view but also gives some advice to Cisco about how to approach the father of his girlfriend. There is a small nod to the late HR Wells when Breacher recognizes Harry as someone he and Gypsy once hunted. Speaking of being hunted, over coffee at Jitters, Breacher tells Cisco that he will hunt him down in 24 hours without using his powers and begins a countdown. Cisco flees and ends up hiding out at STAR Labs. Harry advises that Cisco use his smarts against Breacher to avoid his capture.

At the CCPD, we see Mayor Bellows holding a campaign-style press conference touting the importance of the police force and showering Joe with praise. Also, Barry notes how Joe looks like he is glowing.

Meanwhile, Team Flash is investigating the Dark Matter bus and find it impossible to ID the passengers who could have been infected. However, the team gets a lead when they found out the bus driver recently drowned. Among his possessions was an IOU written on a business card for Ralph Dibny (Hartley Sawyer), Private Investigator. It seems that Barry and Ralph have a history together.

When Barry and Joe go to see Dibny, he isn’t very forthcoming with answers especially whether or not he was on the bus so the two leave. However, two goons give Dibney the shakedown over a rooftop but Dibny legs stretch that guide him to safety. Joe and Barry witness this and take him back to STAR Labs.

Iris sees his elongated leg and freaks out and soon enough, Dibny’s arm gets elongated and when he sneezes his face droops causing Joe to throw-up. Barry immefiately puts Dibny in the villain category along with Hazard and Kilg%re but Iris and Caitlin don’t agree. Caitilin knows more than anyone to have powers all of sudden thrust upon them and freaking out. Caitlin points out that Barry knows the feeling too and should be more understanding. In order to get Didney’s body back into place, Caitlin needs his DNA before he got exposed to dark matter. So Barry and Iris go to Dibny’s office. We learn that Dibney is a dirty cop that planted evidence to get a man convicted. Barry pointed this out and this got Dibney thrown out of the police force.

Luckily, Iris finds a brush that helps Caitlin create a serum. Caitlin gives it to Dibney who drinks and his body returns to normal and he even gets rid of his spare tire. Barry then confronts Dibney on why he keeps on calling the Mayor’s office and he tries to convince Dibney to do the right thing but Dibney feels he is owed since his life was ruined.

So Barry and Joe visit Mayor Bellows who confesses he had an affair and Dibney has the photos to prove it and is now blackmailing him. We soon learn Bellows’ henchmen were the ones to threaten Dibney and he now seeks them to not only get rid of Dibney but also Joe and Barry.

At Barry and Iris’, the two henchmen arrive on the pretense that Captain Singh wants to see them but soon enough they pull out ther guns but luckily the speedster in the house stops the bullets and knocks out the goons.The two realize that Dibney is now in danger.

Dibney is in an alley way waiting for Bellows to make the exchange. Bellows arrives with the money. Dibney gives the photos but refuses the money. Bellows then shoots Dibney in the face but because of his powers, it just bounces out. The Flash arrives and save Dibney before Bellows can do any more arm. Unfortunately, earlier Breacher sees video of Dibney and thinks he is a villain from his Earth and goes out to hunt him. Breacher shoots away the Flash and Elongated Man allowing Bellows to escape and take Joe hostage.

Cisco arrives as Vibe and convinces Breacher to stop hunting Dibney. The quartet sees Bellow fly away in a helicopter but Cisco cannot create a breach or it will bring it down and Barry can’t run fast enough to stop it. The Flash says Dibney can and reveals himself to him as Barry. Barry convinces Dibney to do good and he uses his powers to grab the helicopter allowing Barry to run along his arm to the helicopter. Once inside, the Flash takes th gun and Joe reveals that Cecile is pregnant.

Back at STAR Labs, Joe tells the news to everyone and everyone is happy at the news. Later, Cisco says goodbye to Gypsy and her dad. While Breacher may not like Cisco, he still respects what he has done. As Cisco and Gypsy part, we learn her real name is Cynthia and Breacher’s is Josh.

When then see the setup for next week’s episode as Caitlin comes home and sees a horseshoe on the floor and a message scrawled on her door that states “We Miss You. Come Back Soon”

In the coda, Barry offers to train Dibney use his powers and he agrees but rejects his code name of Plastic Man. When Barry asks who tipped Dibny off about Bellows, he mentions getting a call from a man named Devoe. Barry then remembers Abracadabra and Savitsr mentioning the name.

This has been another entertaining episode of The Flash. Danny Trejo was hilarious as Breacher and love the interplay between Barry and Dibney and can’t wait to see more. And I am calling it that Dibney and Caitlin are going to become a thing.
