i love how all The Flash episode that feature Leonard Snart has the word Rogue in it and this week we welcome back our rogue turned hero to The Flash after he met his untimely demise over on Legends of Tomorrow.

Metahuman(s) of the Week: Mirror Master and the Top

Snart is associated with our metahumans of the week: Sam Scudder (Grey Damon) and Rosaline Dillon (Ashley Rickards). We open the episode three years ago and Scutter and Dillon are part of Snart’s crew. Much to Snart’s chagring, Scutter and Dillon are careless in their spending of their take in the robbery. Snart and Scutter get into a fight but then the particle accelerator explosion happens. Snart and some of his crew take off but Dillon and Scudder are caught in the blast.

Fast forward to present day and Scudder and Dillon’s hideout is about to be demolish and we see that Scudder is stuck in a mirror and only got out because the mirror he was in was put upright.

Scudder is out for revenge and is seeking out and attacking everyone that was part of Snart’s crew.

Scudder goes to breakout his girlfriend Dillon out of Iron Heights. According to Scudder, what happened to him was just yesterday but Dillon has to inform him that three years has passed and Snart is long gone. Dillon also reveals that her metahuman powers is that she causes people to feel vertigo.

Back at STAR Labs, Harry christens Scudder Mirror Master while Cisco calls Dillon the Top. The team gets alerted to a bank robbery and the Flash and his protegee Jesse Quick go after them. Unfortunately, the Top uses her powers on Jesse which causes her to topple over a building which forces the Flash to recuse her and stop his pursuit of Mirror Master. With the Flash distracted, Mirror Master uses his power to shove the Flash in a mirror thus trapping him.

The Flash is brought back to STAR Labs and because he is in a mirror speaks backwards but thanks to Cisco device, the team is able to understand him. Barry tried to phase out of the mirror but cannot, Harry and Cisco determine that if they freeze the mirror to a certain temperature that Barry can break free.

Harry and Cisco get into an argument on how to augment the freeze gun but eventually come up with a solution. However, when the team uses it on the mirror, it doesn’t get to the required temperature. The meta human alert alarm goes off and most of the team takes off except for Caitlin who secretly uses her Killer Frost powers to freeze the mirror to the required temperature allowing Barry to break free.

The alarm was for another bank robbery and Barry figures the only way to stop Scudder is to use mirrors against him and also his hatred of Snart. So using a whole bunch of mirrors and a hologram of Snart, Barry is able to stop Mirror Master. Meanwhile, Jesse Quick goes to confront the Top and learns from her mistakes in their previous encounter and punches her out. The two are then brought to Iron Heights

The Talk

Now that Iris and Barry are in a relationship, things are a bit awkward at the West/Allen household. Barry isn’t comfortable making out with Iris in front of Joe and Iris knows and tells him to talk to her father about it. Barry does and Joe admits he doesn’t like it and finds it uncomfortable. Eventually to make the situation no longer uncomfortable, Barry decides to move out.

Another talk was had between Jesse and Wally. Jesse has been using her speed to run around with Wally and during one of their runs she kisses him. However, Jesse thinks she misread the signs. Wally says that while he does like Jesse, he can’t pursue anything with her because she is from another Earth and will soon go back to it. But after Wally manages to give Jesse a boost confidence, he decides to pursue a relationship with her and I totally can get behind this ship and hope to see Violett Beane come back to the show.

Also, Joe should just go ahead and go out with Cecile, Central City’s DA.

Casting Call

Since Harry and Jesse have to return to Earth-2, Team Flash feels incomplete without a Harrison Wells so they set-up a type of scientific audition to find another one in a different Earth. In the funniest scenes in the episode we see a country bumpkin Wells, an English Wells, a French/mime Wells and a slacker but brilliant Wells from Earth-19. Caitlin and Cisco like Earth-19 Wells as he seems funny and smart. Harry on the other hand doesn’t but eventually Earth-19 Wells aka HR is now part of Team Flash.

Goodbye Harry and Jesse Quick

Before Harry returns to Earth-2, he tells Cisco that the freeze gun didn’t bring the mirror down to the correct temperature and we have a feeling that both knows it was Caitlin. Barry tells Jesse that he knows that Earth-2 has a great speedster taking care of it and we know that we haven’t seen the last of Jesse or Harry. The reason I know is 1) Jesse and Wally 2) Harry was leaving the group with a message but didn’t finish it and it was quite the cryptic one.

Killer Coda

Caitlin comes homes and takes a shower but soon enough her Killer Frost powers freezes the water coming out of the shower head and we see part of her hair sport a white streak.

Will you miss Harry and Jesse Quick? I know I will and will Caitlin become evil or actually be a good Killer Frost?
