Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Recruits a New Face and Brings Back a Familiar One

Constance Zimmer is going from Unreal adversary to being a thorn at Agent Phil Coulson’s (Clark Gregg) side on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Entertainment Weekly reported that Zimmer will recur in the ABC show’s third season. According to EW, Zimmer will play the head of a mysterious new government agency that will cross paths with S.H.I.E.L.D. as both seek out new Inhumans following the events of last season. Zimmer’s character will go toe-to-toe with Coulson (Clark Gregg) and act as his antagonist when the show returns. Zimmer’s character will first appear in the season 3 premiere.

In addition, EW has also reported that Blair Underwood will be back as Andrew Garner, Melinda May’s (Ming-Na Wen) ex-husband who appeared in a few episodes last season. The last we saw of Andrew, he and May went off together for some R&R. It is unknown how Andrew and May come back as his Underwood’s episode count.
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns on September 29, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT.
