We open up one year ago and we see Agent Sam Koenig greet Coulson about Project Theta. This is where we learn that Project Theta is about restoring the air craft carrier that Nick Fury used in The Avengers: Age of Ultron to rescue the Avengers and save the people of Sokovia.

Back to the present, Skye is by Lincoln’s bedside who is still out from Hydra’s experiments. When Lincoln does wake up, he is not happy to learn that he is with SHIELD and that he will have to be indexed.

Meanwhile, Coulson has convinced the SHIELD brain trust that he should still be director but that Gonzales, Weaver, the other guy, Bobbi and May will be part of his counsel.

Elsewhere, Agent 33 is taken into custody as they fear that she still may betray SHIELD. Simmons confesses to Fitz that she really wanted to kill Ward and Mack quits SHIELD.

At Afterlife, Raina shares her vision with Gordon and Jiaying about a Kree stone. Raina and Gordon go to where her vision said the stone was and it is Gonzales’ air craft carrier. Raina and Gordon manage to avoid being detected for awhile until Hunter comes across them and opens fire. Gordon and Raina make it into the room that contains the stone. Unfortunately for them, SHIELD arrives and they teleport away.

At SHIELD HQ, Skye suggests to Coulson they have a meeting with the Inhuman leader, Jiaying, to try and broker some peace. Coulson asks about Jiaying and Skye says that she is her mother.

Planning for the peace summit begins and Gonzales suggests that he meet with Jiaying instead of Coulson as his feelings for Skye might cloud his judgement. Coulson agrees and a plan is formed.

May tells Bobbi that they are doing a scouting mission but we soon learn that it was Agent 33 disguised as May who has brought Agent Morse to Ward who ices her. It is unsure what they want to do with Bobbi.

Back at Afterlife, Raina shares with Gordon another vision of how the meeting with SHIELD doesn’t go well and she should be the on that meets with them. When it looks like Gordon agrees and is going to betray Jiaying it is the other way around.

The meeting with Gonzales and Jiaying takes place. As a measure of good faith, Jiaying gives SHIELD Cal, who willingly goes. When Cal is taken into custody, there are vials of liquid on him that I think what gave him his super strength.

I don’t remember what was said in the meeting between Gonzales and Jiaying but I think it has to do with what Whitehall put her through. Gonzales gives Jiaying a necklace that she was supposed to give to Skye. The most important thing about this meeting is that Jiaying smashes a Kree crystal that was part of a Diviner where we see Gonzales crumble into dust. Jiaying then uses Gonzales’ gun to shoot herself several times in the shoulder. Skye rushes to her mom who declares war against SHIELD.

I know I probably missed a lot of things that happened in this episode but I really think I captured what is important.
