From the images below, it looks like Joel and Alex are getting cosy as we see Joel lean in for a kiss. But if you saw the promos for the episode, the kiss gets interrupted. Episode 6, entitled “Joel 2:31” might has well be Saving Hope’s Halloween episode as the episode description and promo sound like a lot of mysterious things are happening at Hope Z.

A ‘blood moon’ gives the ER its busiest night of the year and also delivers a medical mystery for Alex (Erica Durance), Maggie (Julia Taylor Ross), and Joel (Daniel Gillies) to solve. Charlie (Michael Shanks) meets a patient with an unusual link to life and death, and Zach (Benjamin Ayres) gets an unexpected visit at the hospital that has him questioning his abilities as a dad.

“Joel 2:31” airs on CTV Oct 23, 2014 at 9pm ET/PT.
