When I heard that DC Comics was going to continue Smallville in comic book form, I was quite excited. On April 13, we will get Smallville season 11 written by show writer Bryan Q. Miller. And it will be weekly installments that I don’t know how many there will be. But I can’t wait. I will take that anything that happens in these comics to be canon considering he was one of the show’s writers. The basic plot of season 11 is as follows:

Six months after Clark Kent donned the cape and took to the skies to save Earth from Apokolips… enter Season 11! New allies abound! New enemies afoot! And old friends return where they’re least expected!

Characters that will appear will include Clark of course but also his fiance Lois Lane, Oliver Queen, Chloe Sullivan, Lex Luthor and General Sam Lane.

I am so looking forward to new adventures from this rag-tag group of people. I look forward to seeing who pops up as a new enemy of Clark, which superheroes will make a cameo to help and if any old friends return.

In terms of the latter, I wonder if they will bring back Lana to give her character better closure especially in her relationship with Clark. I hope so because there are times that I do feel that Clark is only with Lois because he couldn’t be with Lana. I do want more sexy times between Lois and Clark and that Clark gives Lois Kyla’s bracelet.

I am so happy that Smallville will live on for however long DC decides to put out comics of it. I am already loving it based on the image in this post, the artist has definitely captured Tom Welling very well. April 13, 2012 can’t come soon enough for me.
